Keeping Your Documents Safe
We all know how easy it is to lose or misplace documents that are kept at home. You know you put them safe somewhere, but where? Did we bring them when we moved to our new house? You know what I mean…..
Add to this these statistics; over 65,0000 household fires per year, 1,000,000 burglaries and 2,000,000 homes at risk from flooding the odds are stacked against us when it comes to finding our important documents when they are needed.
Our Secure Document Storage gives you the peace of mind that your Will and other important documents are safe and easy to locate. They will be kept in temperature controlled and fireproof safes so you can rest assured they will be there when required.
Some of the advantages of Secure Storage:
- Your irreplaceable documents are safe and secure from prying eyes.
- They will not be invalidated by accident. (only a pristine unmarked original Will can be accepted for probate)
- Free codicils (changes) to your will for as long as they are stored with us, this would include, address changes, new beneficiaries, changes to Executors, you would never have to pay out again for your Will.
- With your permission we send storage certificates to your Executors and or next of kin, so when the time comes, they know exactly where to come for the Will and relevant documents.
- We give free advice to Executors and supply them with all the paperwork required for Probate and are there to help and support them in the completion of these documents.
- We will only release your Will to your Executor on proof of ID and a death certificate.
Is your property registered? If you bought it pre 1980 it probably isn't. Consider what would happen if you lost the deeds to your property and it wasn't registered. Your deeds are the only proof of your ownership of the property, so if you lose them, say in a fire, or burglary, how would your beneficiaries prove that you were the rightful owner of the property. We know that this has happened to others and how difficult and uncertain it was to prove ownership.
So, isn't it time you had your important documents stored safely, where they can be found by the right people at the right time?
